Healing can happen. My podcast can help.

Every year, more and more women watch their health and vitality slip away. Today, so many women are overwhelmed by chronic health problems. It doesn’t have to be this way. In the Whole Body Upgrade podcast, I help women struggling with emotional or medical issues that aren’t responding to traditional medical treatment. I use ancient practices with modern day wisdom, to help people spiritually, nutritionally, energetically, and emotionally.

This podcast is about how we can take charge of our well-being and raise our vitality. It’s a new way of being- and it’s so important right now for all of us to take charge of our own wellness.

The Whole Body Upgrade show supports you in creating good health, so that you can enjoy your life, and becoming more resilient energetically, spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

It’s time for you to upgrade.

The Science of Coaching

For the last 15+ years, my job has been asking and answering questions about how things work. I’ve been conducting research about how memory and paying attention really work, especially when the brain has been damaged. Over 15 years ago, I also began conducting internal research. Research on what is true for me in this moment. I’ve always loved internal research, although I didn’t call it that at the time. Self-discovery, self-inquiry, self-help, spirituality. I love it all.Internal research is just researching the internal world–our own or others. We are all scientists, everyday, all the time. By asking the right questions, we have an amazing potential to collect data! Who-hoo! Why is that exciting? Because having a data set is power. Data means you can make informed decisions about what do to do next and why you feel the way you feel.

From Funk to Freedom

My Deep Funk In the past, summer was hard for me. I think it had something to do with a change in routine and a less strict schedule (something I always thought I wanted). Or maybe it's the heat in the south. Or the inevitable comparison of all the "fun" things...

The Wink

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the light within me/us/everyone, and about what Tosha Silver writes in "Outrageous Openness" (which is fabulous) regarding surrender to the divine. When things are tough, or when you are indecisive or just plain stuck, offer it...

Nice is really…not nice.

Nice is really...not nice.  Often, I hear people saying they want to be nice and how important it is to be nice to people. We value being nice in our culture. That is what good people do. We are nice to others. And people who are not nice, well that is not good. I...

Is *perfect* the new normal?

When did perfect become the new normal? One day, I was walking down the street, and it really struck me.  I noticed the lawn care companies working on flawless lawns, in front of picture perfect houses.  I stopped and really looked  at the scene of perfection. That...

Joy Challenge: Week 1

I was waiting with my youngest son (Bear) and watching him drift off to sleep. His eyes were heavy, his breathe slowing, his body relaxing. I looked up at the ceiling fan and watched the slow rhythm and felt the gentle breeze. And there it was-- joy. It was...

What do we want? JOY!

It was a perfectly glorious day. Fall has started to seep into the south and it is one of my favorite times of year. And on that particular day, I had the flexibility to stay at home to work on various projects that "I had to finish." The sun was shining, I have a...

Every year about this time, I try to do something fun to raise money for my favorite charity. Why? Well, September is my birth month and Living Compassion typically holds the Annual Golden Gate Bridge Walk. In the past those have both been good reasons to throw a...

Meet Rebecca

I believe the body has wisdom because it gives us signs and symptoms that are the messages we need: nutritionally, energetically, and emotionally. I believe food is medicine and energy can heal. I believe when we are in touch with spirit guides and nature, life gets way easier. I believe that loving ourselves is a way to heal our bodies and our minds because the inner critic-- leads to dis-ease (and despair). I believe in you.
